Where the growsmartt idea came from

 

  As young farmers we encountered several technical problems in our cultivation, so we often approached field officers or agronomists at Agricultural Chemical-Supply stores to get assistance.This posed several challenges for us such as lack of comprehensive knowledge by any one 'expert' source, easy access to the person and the inconvenience of traveling to meet with an expert.  Speaking with other famers, we realized many others shared similar experiences and concerns especially the newer farmers. Therefore, we decided to devise with our own solution that could educate famers, help diagnose there crop problems and find a solution to it as we would want for ourselves, especially as young farmers.

  We developed this solution to increase accessibility of knowledge to all food growers, make it convenient to access by anyone and pull together all the various sources of knowledge into one simple digital space.
